Song Joong-ki is playing the role of Eun Seon, who tries to protect the Wahan people, whereas Kim Ji-won is acting as Tan Ya, who is the successor of the new Wahan generation. Eun Seon is Igutu generation, a mix of “neanthal” and “saram” which are the strongest species. The plot twist happens when Sa Ya, the twin of Eun Seon suddenly appears after they were separated in early childhood.
