On October 10th, 2016, Twice’s agency gave an announcement about the next Twice comeback. They announced that the title for this newest album is Twicecoaster: Lane 1. This announcement was made when they released a promotion schedule. Through this promotion schedule, it was revealed that this Twicecoaster album would be released on October 24th. On October 12th, Twice gave an album package preview. On October 13th, Twice released a tracklist poster and a teaser poster on the same day. For the tracklist poster, we can see that there would be seven tracks in this album. On October 14th, Twice shared some happiness with Onces by giving two group photo teasers. The next day, Twice shared their unit photo teasers. There were four photo teasers, and they were released from October 15th through the 16th. On the same day, they also released an album highlight video with a choreography teaser for “TT.” On October 24th, the album was released officially. Dr. Jo wrote the lyrics for “Jelly Jelly” while east4A composed and arranged this song. East4A cooperated with Ashley Jana Mounts and Kim Heedeok to compose this song. “Jelly Jelly” is classified as a pop song. The members performed “Jelly Jelly” on various K-pop music programs such as Inkigayo on the SBS station and Meet & Greet on MWave. They performed on November 14th, 2016, on Meet & Greet and on November 27th, 2016, on Inkigayo. On December 4th, 2016, Twice performed this song again at a fan signing event at International Finance Center (IFC) Mall in Yeouido, Seoul, South Korea. At this fan signing event, the members performed this song by using animal pajama costumes. On January 19th, 2017, Twice performed this song at Seoul Music Awards. For the last time, Twice sang this song during their very first Japanese concert.
