After the success of their mini album Yes or Yes in 2018, Twice made a comeback with their seventh mini album entitled Fancy You. Fancy You is the second Twice album released in 2019 after Twice’s second Japanese compilation album #TWICE2 which was released on March 6, 2019. JYP Entertainment released Fancy You on April 22, 2019. This album has 6 songs with “Fancy” as the title track. Story Behind Fancy You by Twice
JYP Entertainment confirmed Twice’s spring comeback by releasing the first group teaser photo on April 8, 2019, with the title Fancy You. The album was released on April 22 at 6 PM KST. Not only were the group teaser photos released but Twice also released a preview of the Fancy You album packaging. Fans could pre-order starting on April 9, 2019. JYP Entertainment also released the EP title track “Fancy You” and individual teasers of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Momo on April 9, 2019. On April 10, 2019, teaser photos of Sana, Jihyo, and Mina were released along with the album tracklist. JYP Entertainment released more detailed information about the EP Fancy You on April 11, 2019. In the tracklist album photo, we can see that Jihyo, Sana, Momo, and Chaeyoung were involved in writing the lyrics for the songs for their comeback EP.
