Naidu was born on 20 April 1950 at Naravaripalle, Chittoor district in present-day Andhra Pradesh in an agricultural family to Nara Kharjura Naidu and his wife Amanamma. He has a younger brother Nara Ramamurthy Naidu and two younger sisters. Since his village had no school, Naidu attended primary school in Seshapuram up to class five and the Chandragiri Government High School up to class 10. He completed his BA degree in 1972 from Sri Venkateswara Arts College, Tirupati. He did his Masters in Economics from Sri Venkateswara University. In 1974, under the gudience of professor Dr D.L.Narayana he started work on his PhD on the topic of Economic ideas of Professor N G Ranga, but did not complete his PhD. At the age of 28, Chandra Babu Naidu was elected as the state’s youngest assembly member and minister. The Telugu Desam Party, led by Naidu, won a majority in the state legislature by securing 185 of 294 seats in the Assembly and 29 of 42 in the 1999 general election, making it the second-largest party in the BJP-led NDA coalition government. In 2003 he escaped an assassination attempt during a land-mine blast. He suffered lacerations to his collarbone and hairline fractures. During his childhood, until class nine he used to walk 11 km every day to school. He founded Heritage Group in 1992 which has become one of the largest private sector dairy enterprises in Southern India. His Hobbies are reading and writing. He is an Indian Politician by Profession. On Friday 19th Nov 2021, Naidu broke into tears because of the abusive words from YCP party in AP assembly. He promised that he will step into the assembly after becoming CM. Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Bhuvaneshwari belongs to the Nandamuri family and is the daughter of former Chief Minister and actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, who was fondly known as NTR.
